Ingo Weber

Ingo brings over 20 years of experience as an operator and investor in insurance, financial services, and technology. He has co-founded and held multiple C-suite roles in VC- and PE-backed insurtech and fintech ventures, including successful exits. A pioneer in impact investing, he has spent more than 15 years investing in emerging markets.

At Apis Partners, Ingo leads portfolio management and value creation across the firm’s insurtech investments. Earlier in his career, he led M&A at Swiss Re and GE Capital / GE Insurance and was a VC at SoftBank.

He was part of the founding team at LeapFrog Investments, served on its Investment Committee, and helped build the European presence of the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN). He also served on the G7 Social Impact Investment Taskforce’s National Advisory Board.​
